The following day, Panetta discussed healthcare access in California after meeting with Local Health Plans of California. On October 11, 2025 he said: “Great to meet with Local Health Plans of California to discuss expanding healthcare access and the consequences of the OBBA. I will continue to work in Congress to ensure that all in CA-19 can access affordable and quality healthcare.”
