Later that day at 17:55 UTC, he addressed ongoing international issues, stating, “With the hostages returned and hope for the return of all the deceased hostages, the work must continue to have a regional partnership for security and financial support to rebuild and provide humanitarian aid in Gaza. A strong will and a stronger commitment are necessary to”.
At 19:07 UTC, Panetta highlighted constituent services by describing his efforts to assist a local healthcare provider facing administrative challenges: “A local medical provider contacted me for assistance when they became unable to receive Medicare reimbursements due to a technical paperwork issue. They had been trying to resolve the issue for weeks, and difficulties caused by the shutdown were making things worse. I stepped in”.
