U.S. Representative Jimmy Panetta, who serves California’s 19th district in Congress, posted a series of tweets highlighting his ongoing engagement with public health policy and constituent services.
On September 17, 2025, Panetta announced an upcoming event: “Tomorrow at 5:30 PM, I’m hosting another town hall with key experts on this Administration’s public health policies under Sec. The following day, he shared details about assisting a community member: “A constituent came to my office deeply worried about his immigration status. I connected him with resources and made sure that his issues were solved. Having grown up here from a family that immigrated here, I have always fought for those willing to come here, play by the rules,” (posted September 18, 2025).

Jimmy Panetta has represented California’s 19th District in Congress since replacing Sam Farr in 2017. He was born in Washington, D.C., in 1969 and currently resides in Carmel Valley. Panetta holds a BA from the University of California, Davis (1991), and a JD from Santa Clara University (1996).
