On March 20, 2025, Rep. Panetta expressed his dissatisfaction with the current administration’s handling of certain issues affecting federal civil servants. He stated, “The chaos and confusion from this administration are unacceptable. I sat down with impacted federal civil servants. I stand with them and will continue to fight for the vital service they provide for our community.”
Later that day, he acknowledged the contributions of a local surfing community group by tweeting at 18:30 UTC about his meeting with the Santa Cruz Longboard Union. He noted their efforts in education and conservation, saying “Great to meet with the Santa Cruz Longboard Union, a community that not only celebrates the essence of surfing but gives back through education, conservation, and youth support.”
At 19:30 UTC on the same day, Rep. Panetta visited Bay Area Community Health (BACH), commending their work in providing healthcare services to working families in his district. He remarked on their contributions by stating “Had the privilege of visiting Bay Area Community Health (BACH), an organization doing incredible work providing high-quality healthcare to working families in CA-19.”
