Rep. Jimmy Panetta, who represents California’s 19th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on November 15, 2025, addressing recent legislative developments, constituent services for veterans, and recognition for local winemakers.

In his first post following the end of a government shutdown, Panetta stated: “Now that the shutdown is over, it’s time for both sides and both Houses of Congress to get back to the negotiating table. I joined a bipartisan group that called on the Senate to include the House in the Senate negotiations on the ACA Tax Credits. I continue to push for https://t.co/a8NH6t3Bb7” (November 15, 2025).

Later that day, Panetta highlighted his efforts assisting constituents with federal matters: “When a local veteran reached out to me for help securing his separation documents from the National Guard, I was able to expedite his request. I’m always happy to assist veterans and constituents with any issues that you may have with any federal bureaucracies. https://t.co/9VjPFas92m” (November 15, 2025).

He also congratulated regional winemakers: “Congratulations to Paso Robles winemakers on being named as 2025 Industry Leaders by Wine Business Monthly. Our vintners in the 19th Congressional District make some of the best wine in the country and this recognition is extremely well deserved. We are proud of our local” (November 15, 2025).

Jimmy Panetta has served as representative for California’s 19th district since succeeding Sam Farr in 2017. Born in Washington D.C., he currently resides in Carmel Valley and holds degrees from UC Davis and Santa Clara University.
