On June 6, 2025, Panetta expressed his gratitude for being acknowledged by Q Street during World Pride for his ongoing dedication to LGBTQ+ rights and equality. He stated, “Honored to be recognized by Q Street during World Pride for my commitment to LGBTQ+ rights and equality. I’ll keep working in Congress and with our community partners to combat discrimination and ensure every American can live with dignity, safety, and pride.”
Later that day, Panetta highlighted a legislative effort focused on healthcare costs. He tweeted about introducing the bipartisan HOPE Act alongside Rep. Blake Moore. The initiative aims to assist over 100 million Americans in saving for and managing healthcare expenses. He noted the critical issue faced by many citizens: “Too many hardworking Americans are forced to choose between their health and their financial stability.”
In another engagement on June 7, 2025, Panetta celebrated meeting with women entrepreneurs and members of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) as they marked their 50th anniversary. Jimmy Panetta was born in Washington D.C., raised in Carmel Valley, graduated from UC Davis with a BA in 1991, followed by a JD from Santa Clara University in 1996.
