On May 10, Panetta posted about his engagement with local healthcare professionals: “Great to meet with local healthcare leaders to talk about ways in which we can strengthen our healthcare system for all those who live in CA-19.”
Later that day, he highlighted his efforts to assist families facing immigration challenges: “Proud to help families with visa issues to help them reconnect with their loved ones.”
On May 11, Panetta recognized a business milestone within his district: “Proud to recognize a local ice cream shop and congratulate them on 50 years of business and impact in our 19th Congressional District.”
Panetta has represented California’s 19th district since succeeding Sam Farr in 2017. He was born in Washington, D.C., in 1969 and currently resides in Carmel Valley. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Davis (1991), and a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University (1996).
