Rep. Jimmy Panetta, who represents California’s 19th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on his meetings with local organizations and constituents via social media.
On November 10, 2025, Panetta posted about a meeting with the Cattleman’s Association: “Always good to meet with our local Cattleman’s Association, the largest one in California, to discuss the issues confronting our beef producers, including this administration’s plan to increase Argentinian beef imports. So proud to represent and fight for all of our many https://t.co/3djmQvT8Sh”.
Later that day, he highlighted efforts to engage young people in democracy: “Recently met with a constituent who is working to connect college students to our democratic process. These efforts are important, and I look forward to continuing my work to ensure that young people stay connected to our communities and democracy. https://t.co/IsHXyZLBJR” (November 10, 2025).
In another post on November 10, 2025, Panetta visited a youth program: “A great visit to see the new kitchen at the Paso Robles Youth Arts Center’s culinary program and meet some of the young people that will benefit from this project. Panetta has represented California’s 19th District since 2017 after succeeding Sam Farr. He was born in Washington, D.C., in 1969 and currently resides in Carmel Valley. His educational background includes a BA from the University of California, Davis (1991), and a JD from Santa Clara University (1996).
