Panetta has represented California’s 19th district since replacing Sam Farr in 2017. He was born in Washington, D.C., in 1969 and currently resides in Carmel Valley. Panetta holds a BA from the University of California, Davis (1991), and earned his JD from Santa Clara University in 1996.
