City of Salinas issued the following announcement on Nov 20.
The City of Salinas began distribution of the Grow Salinas Fund (GSF) Small Business Grant awards to local businesses on November 20, 2020. There were 20 businesses who each received a $10,000 grant. The checks were delivered to the recipients by Crystal Casillas, the City’s new Business Navigator. During the Alisal Vibrancy Plan development process, the community expressed the need for a “business navigator” to guide businesses and entrepreneurs through City processes and connect them with resources and information. Stay tuned! The City has new local business support initiatives and programs to be announced in the near future.
