City of King issued the following announcement on Dec 19.
The City of King is still accepting applications for the Housing and Utility Assistance program. However, there are limited funds remaining and one of the grant funding deadlines is approaching.
Therefore, the application period will be closing soon. If your income has been reduced by COVID-19, please contact City Hall at 385-3281 by Monday, December 21st to determine if you eligible.
City staff will provide instructions on the application process. Please also pass this information on to others you know who may qualify. Funding assistance may include the payment of rent and utilities for up to three months.
These are funds the City has obtained through grants and we want to make sure as much as possible is used to help people in our community.
