City of Seaside recently issued the following announcement.
Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) will be back in your neighborhood to complete their replacement of sections of their natural gas pipeline. Their work will be on Monterey Road between Coe Avenue and Military Avenue in Seaside. Work has already begun and will continue through the end of August.
This work will affect traffic (lane closures, traffic control, etc.) on Monterey Road between Coe Avenue and Fremont Blvd. They will temporarily close Monterey Road between Coe Avenue and Fremont Blvd on August 21 and August 28 from 7:00am to 7:00pm. Monterey Road north of Coe Avenue will remain open during construction. They will clearly mark all work areas. Detour routes, as shown in the map, will be in place but are subject to change. Please plan for minor delays when driving through this area.
