City of Seaside issued the following announcement on Sept. 1.
Seaside Police and Sand City Police will be hosting a Community Blood Drive on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 from 10AM to 2PM at Soper Field Community Center, located at 220 Coe Avenue in Seaside.
Supplies of donated blood have been critically low during the COVID pandemic and every whole blood donation can save up to 3 lives. With so many people in need of blood and fewer than 38% of the population being eligible, blood donations are more important than ever.
