City of Seaside issued the following announcement.
The Seaside Police Department will be hosting the community outreach event “Coffee with a Cop” on Saturday, December 11th, 2021 from 9AM to 11AM at The Butter House, located at 1760 Fremont Blvd., Suite B-1, in Seaside.
All community members are invited to attend, ask questions, voice concerns, and learn more about the Seaside Police Department and our officers. Seaside PD will be providing a free cup of coffee to those that attend.
Seaside PD will also be collecting new and/or used shoes at this event. The community is invited to bring their shoe donations if they have them.
“Coffee with a Cop” is a national initiative supported by the United States Department of Justice, Office of the Community Oriented Policing Services. The program is intended to advance the practice of community policing through improving relationships between police officers and community members one cup of coffee at a time.
