City of Seaside recently issued the following announcement.
The Seaside Police Department continues to support fallen Salinas Police Department hero, Officer Jorge David Alvarado Jr. and the Salinas Police Department. The Seaside Police Department, in partnership with various Monterey County law enforcement agencies, will be hosting a fundraising run at Seaside High School on March 20th at 9:00 am. All proceeds will go to the Peace Officers Research Association (PORAC) to support Officer Alvarado Jr.’s family.
All members of the community are welcome. You can walk, jog or bike.
