City of Seaside recently issued the following announcement.

The City of Seaside Neighborhood Improvement Commission (NIC) will be sponsoring a FREE Citywide CleanUp on Saturday, March 26 from 8:30am to 12pm at multiple locations, including:

• East side of Martin Park on Luxton Avenue
• South side of Highland Otis Park on Mingo Avenue
• North side of Metz Park on Military Avenue
• NW side of Williams Ave & Tierra St intersection East of 595 Williams Ave
• North side of Trinity Avenue and Terrace Street, West pf 1102 Trinity Ave

Electronics will be accepted and placed in a separate container. The public is advised to bring their items early. When the bin is full, the cleanup is over.

Items that will NOT be accepted include:

• Mattresses
• Paint
• Chemicals
• Pool chemicals
• Refrigerators
• Batteries
• Oil
• Asbestos
• Tires
• Antifreeze
• Cleaning Products
• Washers/Dryers
• Any Hazardous Materials

For Seaside residents only. No commercial dumping.
