CIty of Salinas recently issued the following announcement.
The temporary installation at McKinnon St. and Westminster Dr. is coming April 20th - May 18th as part of the Safe Routes to School project. Installation begins on Monday, April 18th. During this time, there may be more traffic on McKinnon St. and in the school drop-off loop. Encourage students to walk/bike or allow extra time for drop off. The church parking lot on Alvin near McKinnon (approximately a 5 minute walk from Harden Middle School) may be used as an alternate student drop off location.
