South Monterey County Joint Union High School District's schools enrolled 2,761 students in the 2022-23 school year, 0.5% more than the previous year, according to the California Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.5% of them were boys, and 48.5% were girls.
