Cost of college went up for all students at CET-Soledad

Tuition and fees rose 8.4 percent for 2018-19 at CET-Soledad, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

California students paid $12,954 to attend the private not-for-profit school this year – $1,000 more than the $11,954 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 31 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 26 students received grants or scholarships totaling $301,235 and 13 students took out student loans totaling more than $97,035.

Including all undergraduates (84), 69 students used grants or scholarships totaling $690,637, and 45 students took out $314,079 in federal student loans.
