Census Bureau: More women than men in Carmel-by-the-Sea city in 2019

Of the 3,830 people living in Carmel-by-the-Sea city in 2019, 52.8 percent (2,024) were women and 47.2 percent (1,806) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Monterey Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 891-to-827. In the 65 and over age range, there were 892 females and 765 males.
