Census Bureau: 70.9 percent of people in Kern County were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 887,641 citizens living in Kern County in 2019, 629,552 were old enough to vote as of Feb. 11, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 305,860 of those people were female and 323,692 were male.
