Jimmy Panetta, the U.S. Congress representative for California’s 19th district, shared insights and concerns on a range of issues in his social media updates. His posts addressed local agricultural challenges, international alliances, and law enforcement commendations.

In a post dated March 27, 2025, Rep. Panetta shared about a “productive discussion with local irrigation professionals”. He emphasized his commitment to advocating for sustainable agriculture, which includes supporting growers, workers, and water resources.

On the same day, in another post, Panetta expressed his concerns regarding the current administration's foreign policy. He stated, “The President's foreign policy is undermining our alliances, weakening NATO, and halting cyber defenses.” To address these issues, he introduced the bipartisan NATO Edge Act to prevent any president from unilaterally withdrawing from the alliance.

In another statement on March 27, 2025, Panetta recognized the efforts of individuals involved in the resolution of a cold case, known as the "American Nightmare" case. He remarked, “I took to the House floor to commend Denise and Aaron Quinn, Seaside Police Chief Nick Borges, and all those involved in the reinvestigation of the 'American Nightmare' case.” He credited Lt. Misty Carausu, DA Vern Pierson, and others for their dedication and persistence in solving the case.
