Census Bureau: More women than men in Carmel-by-the-Sea city in 2020

Of the 3,789 people living in Carmel-by-the-Sea city in 2020, 54.5 percent (2,066) were women and 45.5 percent (1,723) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Monterey Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 149. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,036 females and 864 males.
