On October 7, 2021, the Seaside City Council adopted resolution no. 21-101 approving Administrative Policies and Procedures for a storefront improvement grant program entitled “FLIP Seaside” and appropriated $150,000 to implement the program.

The FLIP Seaside Program offered a 75% matching grant, up to $7,500 for projects over $10,000 to help fund façade improvements such as awnings, paint, windows, doors, signs, barriers for COVID-19 readiness, and other minor improvements.
