A Book Talk, Signing & Sales with New York Times best-selling author, Ben Jealous on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at City Hall Council Chambers, where it was relocated due to power outage at the library.
Ben's newest book "Never Forget Our People Were Always Free: A Parable of American Healing" was released in January.
Jealous, a civil rights leader, organizer, scholar, and journalist, grew up in Pacific Grove, spending summers in Baltimore. He earned a master’s degree from Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar and led the NAACP as the youngest-ever president and CEO of the nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization. He invited Mel Mason and Sam Farr to join.
