Former Salinas High School player and current Chapman Panthers outfielder and infielder, Taylor Cruz, will compete in the NCAA D3 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number three seed against the second seeded Texas Lutheran Bulldogs.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
