Representative Jimmy Panetta, serving California's 19th district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, has been vocal about key issues through his social media platform. On November 23 and 24, 2024, he shared insights on topics ranging from international alliances to local community safety and infrastructure improvements.

On November 23, Rep. Panetta emphasized the importance of the United States' leadership role within NATO. He stated, "The leadership of the US in NATO is critical to global stability. Our allies need to know that America has their back, no matter who’s in the Oval Office. I’m leading the charge in Congress to reassert our authority to uphold our commitment to NATO."

Later that day, Panetta highlighted his engagement with local constituents regarding public safety concerns. He mentioned a meeting held in South San Jose focused on countering gang activity and bolstering community security measures. As he noted in his tweet: "Appreciated meeting with neighbors in South San Jose to discuss efforts to counter gang activity and strengthen public safety. It’s crucial that we work together to protect our communities, support prevention programs, and ensure our law enforcement have the resources they need."

In another post dated November 24, Panetta celebrated a significant infrastructure development with the reopening of Nacimiento-Fergusson Road. He expressed pride in securing funding for this vital roadway which benefits Big Sur residents and local businesses while enhancing access to coastal areas: "Nacimiento-Fergusson Road is back open. This roadway is a lifeline for Big Sur residents, supports local businesses, and enhances access to our beautiful coastline. I was proud to fight for funding that made these repairs possible."
