The City of Seaside Releases Request for Proposals for Parks Trail Restoration Project

The City of Seaside Releases Request for Proposals for Manzanita-Stuart, Lincoln-Cunningham, & Havana-Soliz Parks Trail Restoration Project.

The City of Seaside is seeking proposals for the survey and design for the maintenance, upgrades and repairs to the existing trail network that connects Manzanita-Stuart Park, Lincoln-Cunningham Park, and Havana-Soliz Park.

The City of Seaside is seeking to retain a qualified design team that provides professional engineering services to obtain all necessary permits, perform all requisite environmental studies and clearances, surveys and design trial improvements, and prepare contract documents to enable the City to go out to bid for construction. The project should be designed in a way that allows flexibility to be constructed in phases for each park individually.

All submitted proposals will be reviewed by City Staff to ensure completion of application. The top completed application, based on a review by City Staff, will be forwarded as a recommendation to the City Council for final selection.

Information on how to submit a proposal is available on the homepage of the City website at www.ci.seaside.ca.us and the full proposal is available by visiting bit.ly/RFPTRAILRESTORATIONSEASIDE.

Proposals are due by Friday, October 29, 2022 at 5:00 PM.

Any questions about the RFP can be directed to Recreation Director Dan Meewis at dmeewis@ci.seaside.ca.us.
