Rep. Jimmy Panetta, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing California's 19th district, shared insights from his recent activities through a series of tweets. These posts highlighted his engagement with local businesses and constituents, showcasing his commitment to sustainable practices and community support.

On November 16, 2024, Rep. Panetta expressed his appreciation for sustainable farming during a visit to a local organic mushroom producer. He noted the positive impact of these practices on the local economy and food system: "Had a wonderful time touring a local organic mushroom producer, seeing sustainable farming practices in action, and learning how they’re contributing to our local economy and food system."

The following day, November 17, 2024, he reported on his efforts to assist a constituent in obtaining employee retention tax credits from the IRS. He stated: "I recently helped a constituent secure the employee retention tax credits they deserved after previous delays. I kept the pressure on the federal bureaucracy to make good on its promises to secure more than $18,000 from the IRS for this local org."

Later that same day, Rep. Panetta visited Loop Neighborhood Market in South San Jose where he interacted with constituents by working behind the counter briefly: "Had a great time visiting and touring the Loop Neighborhood Market in South San Jose. I even had a chance to serve some constituents behind the counter, thanks for letting me be a part of the team!"
