Early Voting Period Opens for the City of Pacific Grove Special Tax Measure Election

City of Pacific Grove recently issued the following announcement.

Voters in the City of Pacific Grove to begin receiving ballots for the City’s Special Tax Measure Election. In-person voting opportunities will be available for those who need assistance or who wish to vote in person. To vote at the polls, voters must bring their mailed ballot to surrender. Any voter unable to surrender their ballot will be assisted with a provisional ballot. Early voting and ballot return options include:

Early voting and ballot return:

  • The Monterey County Elections Department, 1441 Schilling Place – North Building, Salinas

    March 14-April 12; Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with extended hours 7 am to 8 pm on April 12th.

  • Pacific Grove Library, 550 Central Avenue, Pacific Grove

    March 28 and April 4, 3 pm to 6 pm

  • Pacific Grove Council Chamber, 300 Forest Ave, Pacific Grove

    April 8 and April 11, 9 am to 3 pm

Ballot return locations:

  • The Monterey County Elections Department, 1441 Schilling Place, Salinas

    Contactless 24-hour ballot drop box available

  • Pacific Grove City Hall, 300 Forest Ave, Pacific Grove

    Contactless 24-hour ballot drop box available

  • Pacific Grove Farmers’ Market, Central Ave. and Grand Ave., Pacific Grove

    March 14 and March 21, 3 pm to 6 pm, election personnel will have a ballot return table at the Farmers’ Market

Polling places will be open from 7 am to 8 pm on Tuesday, April 12th.
