The City of Seaside Fire Department is hosting the ‘Seaside Fire Department Annual Open House’ on Saturday October 8th from 10am to 2pm in support of this year’s Fire Prevention Week campaign, “Fire won’t wait. Plan your escape™.”
Come join this special celebration at the Seaside Fire Department, located at 1635 Broadway Avenue, and meet the Seaside Firefighters, tour the Fire Station, experience exciting live demonstrations, meet Sparky the Fire Dog, learn valuable safety information, enjoy free hamburgers and hot dogs, and more!
Additionally, the City of Seaside Fire Department is teaming up once again with the National Fire Protection Association® (NFPA®) to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Fire Prevention WeekTM (FPW), which will take place October 9-15, 2022. This year’s FPW campaign, “Fire won’t wait. Plan your escape™”, works to educate everyone about simple but important actions they can take to keep themselves and those around them safe from home fires.
