Monterey Bay Half Marathon, Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022 - Parking Restrictions And Road Closures
The seventeenth presentation of the Monterey Bay Half Marathon will take place in Monterey and Pacific Grove on Sunday, November 13, 2022. This event is organized by the same
organization who brings the Big Sur Marathon to the Central Coast each year. As with any event of this magnitude, it is critical that everyone who is potentially impacted be notified in advance to minimize any problems stemming from the activity. The attached information sheet summarizes the Half Marathon course route, street closures and access, parking locations and restrictions, and Monterey Bay Coastal trail restrictions associated with the day's activities.
This year's race will again start and finish in historic downtown Monterey. The full course route is outlined in the attached information sheet.
The city of Monterey recognizes that the Half Marathon activities may inconvenience some residents and businesses along the course. In this regard, we are committed to minimize the problems and make the event a positive experience for everyone. This is the intention of the City of Monterey, as well as the Big Sur International Marathon Foundation, and the Monterey Bay Half Marathon Race Committee.
Thank you for your cooperation, patience, and understanding. If you have any questions or need further assistance, you are encouraged to call the staff for the Half Marathon race
