Emergency Notifications Downgraded for Monterey County Communities

For your information, emergency notifications are being downgraded for many areas impacted by our 2023 Winter Storms, including the community of Pajaro, which has been under Evacuation Order since January 9th.

Here are the following changes which go into effect at 1:00 p.m.

  • Arroyo Seco Order, returning to normal status (Warning Lifted)
  • Salinas River Valley. all zones south of Spreckels returning to normal status (Warning Lifted),
  • Pajaro, Moss Landing, Monterey Dunes, Los Lomas and areas of the Salinas River from Spreckels north to the Pacific Ocean remain under Evacuation Warning

Residents returning home can get information about safe return, damage assessment and safe food use at www.Mtyhd.org/floodrecovery. Residents can also call 211 for information, services or support.
