Jimmy Panetta, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing California’s 19th district, recently shared a series of tweets highlighting key issues and engagements. These tweets, posted on February 13 and 14, cover topics such as healthcare access, taxpayer data security, and affordable housing initiatives.

On February 13 at 21:30 UTC, Panetta expressed his commitment to Medicare and Medicaid in collaboration with the American Medical Association. He stated that "Rising provider costs and looming cuts threaten access to care." The congressman emphasized the dilemma faced by physicians who must choose between serving patients and financial sustainability.

Later that day at 22:30 UTC, Panetta addressed concerns regarding unauthorized access to taxpayer data. He tweeted about a resolution introduced with his colleagues to demand transparency from the Trump Administration concerning its turnover of taxpayer information to Elon Musk. He asserted that "Unauthorized access to sensitive taxpayer data is a violation of the law and a breach of trust."

On February 14 at midnight UTC, Panetta highlighted his meeting with Habitat for Humanity's local team in CA-19. He praised their efforts in expanding affordable housing by stating "Their commitment to building homes and strengthening communities is making a real difference." Panetta reaffirmed his support for their work within his district.
