Representative Jimmy Panetta, serving California’s 19th district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, shared insights on various topics through his recent social media posts. His focus ranged from education initiatives to housing policy reforms and constituent services.

On February 15, 2025, Panetta emphasized the importance of math skills for students' futures. He noted a partnership with Paso Robles Joint Unified School District (PRJUSD) and Mathnasium that offers free after-school math tutoring at TeamPaso. He stated, "Strong math skills open doors for our students’ futures. I saw that firsthand at TeamPaso, where a partnership with PRJUSD & Mathnasium is providing free after-school math tutoring. Investing in STEM education means investing in opportunity."

Later that day, he mentioned his engagement with residents of California's 19th district during office hours. Panetta encouraged constituents to reach out for assistance with federal agencies such as veterans' benefits and Social Security issues, expressing his commitment to support them: "I had the privilege of sitting down with CA-19 residents during office hours. From veterans' benefits to dealing with the IRS to Social Security issues, if you need help navigating federal agencies, please reach out."

On February 16, 2025, Panetta addressed concerns about outdated capital gains tax exemptions affecting homeowners due to inflation. He proposed the More Homes on the Market Act as a solution to raise these exemptions and adjust them for inflation: "Too many homeowners feel stuck because outdated capital gains tax exemptions haven’t kept up with inflation. My More Homes on the Market Act offers a simple fix: raising the exemption and adjusting it for inflation."
