Rep. Jimmy Panetta, a U.S. Congressman representing California's 19th district, recently shared a series of tweets addressing legal challenges and constitutional issues. Born in Washington, D.C., in 1969, Panetta has been serving in Congress since 2017 after succeeding Sam Farr. He holds degrees from the University of California, Davis, and Santa Clara University.

On February 5, 2025, Rep. Panetta stated that while "Congress does not have standing to sue," efforts are being made to ensure coordination in these cases and pursue every legal avenue.
