We must stay vigilant, support our firefighters, and continue investing in climate resilience". Jimmy Panetta, 53, represents California's 19th Congressional District, having been elected to replace former Congressman Sam Farr in 2017. He was born in Washington, D.C., and resides in Carmel Valley. Panetta earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Davis, and a Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University.
