Rep. Jimmy Panetta, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress for California's 19th District since 2017, shared several updates through his social media activity. These posts demonstrated his engagement in veteran support, environmental restoration, and constituent interaction within his community.

On April 19, 2025, Panetta attended the 2025 Veterans Stand Down and Resource Fair in Monterey County. He stated, "Proud to attend the 2025 Veterans Stand Down and Resource Fair in Monterey County, an event that brings our community together to support those who served. My office stands ready to assist veterans and their families with the benefits and services they’ve earned."

Later on the same day, he participated in a significant environmental event, the restoration of Beach Ranch in Santa Cruz County. Panetta tweeted, "Honored to join local, state, and federal partners to celebrate the restoration of Beach Ranch in Santa Cruz County. This 247-acre project is a model of how we can protect our coast, support our farmers, and strengthen our climate resilience, with federal investment and community."

On April 20, 2025, Panetta informed the public about another town hall meeting he conducted with Rep. Liccardo. This event allowed discussion with constituents on numerous topics. Panetta shared, "Proud to do another town hall, this time with Rep. Liccardo. Good discussion with our constituents on many topics as we work together to go forward and bolster our Constitution."

Jimmy Panetta, born in Washington, D.C. in 1969 and educated at the University of California, Davis, and Santa Clara University, has made his home in Carmel Valley. His legislative focus includes veterans' services, environmental conservation, and community engagement within his district.
